During the consultation

Questions that lead to the right recommendation.

Residential window tinting should begin with the room and the glass—not a predetermined film. We ask when the problem occurs, what you want to preserve and how you want the windows to look after installation.

  • Which room is uncomfortable and when?
  • Which direction do the windows face?
  • Is heat, glare, fading or privacy the priority?
  • How important is a nearly invisible exterior look?
  • Are the units single-pane, double-pane or Low-E?
  • Would you rather treat one room or plan in stages?

Your written proposal should identify

  • Exact product or film family
  • Rooms and panes included
  • Expected appearance
  • Preparation, access and cleanup
  • Installation and cure expectations
  • Manufacturer warranty terms
  • Total price and payment terms

Before installation

Prepare the room and confirm the scope.

We confirm the panes included and discuss access around the glass. Furniture, window treatments and fragile items may need to be moved far enough to create a safe work area. Existing film or adhesive is identified because removal can change the schedule and price.

After installation

Allow the film to cure normally.

Temporary haze or small moisture pockets can appear while installation moisture dries. Cure time varies with the film, weather and glass. We explain when the windows can be cleaned and recommend soft cloths and non-abrasive cleaners after curing.

Next step

Start with photos and the room that bothers you most.

Exact measurements are not required for your first request. Tell us the property ZIP code, the type of room and whether heat, glare, fading, privacy or safety is the main concern. We can then confirm service availability and the best way to evaluate the project.
